And in this video I’ll show you how to install one on your bike. Pretty much all bottle cages are mounted with two screws through these holes. The set I bought comes with it’s own Allen screws and washers but might not be needed. Before installing, check to see that nothing is blocking like gearing hardware. Check the 2nd bottle location if your bike has one. Now use an Allen wrench and remove the two bolts in the bike frame. This is the Specialized Pitch mountain bike and has 2 water bottle mounting places. And as you can see we won’t be needing the screws that came with the bottle cages. Now line the mounting holes with the holes on the frame. Take the screws and hand tighten them back onto the frame. Then take the Allen wrench and tighten the bottle cage securely. If you have a second bottle cage, repeat the steps I just went over. Now you’re ready to stay hydrated on your ride!
